Inky Bee Stampers

This adorable card was created using the Bright Skies Bundle (available from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog on Jan 4) and the coordinating Sunny Days 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (available free from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog on Jan 4 with a $50 purchase). The images in the bundle and the designer series paper are so uplifting and I love that the dies coordinate with the paper!

I used three different prints from the Sunny Days 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack to cut a cloud panel for the card front, two clouds for the scene and two hills from a floral print. The sun image was stamped in Crushed Curry ink and three of the flowers were stamped in Petal Pink ink then die cut using the coordinating dies from the Bright Skies Dies set. I also die cut five flower stems – three from Shaded Spruce cardstock and two from Pool Party cardstock. Before arranging the images on the card front, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and used the Modern Oval Punch to punch out the sentiment. All of the images were then adhered to the card front with the clouds, sentiment label and flowers adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I kept the inside of the card very simple and stamped two overlapping clouds in Pool Party ink, a sun in Crushed Curry ink, flower stems in Pool Party ink and flowers in Poppy Parade ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flower and sun images were stamped onto the envelope front. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away using a pair of paper snips. A small bow was tied using Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon and was adhered just above the sentiment label on the card front.

This sweet card makes a great friendhsip card but by changing up the sentiment it would also make a great birthday card or even a children’s card.
