Stampin’ Up! Paper Florist Pretty Wall Hanging

I had an absolute blast creating this pretty wall hanging using the Paper Florist Dies and scraps of cardstock! I could not wait to get my hands on this die set. This is a stand-alone die set in the 2023-2025 Annual Catalog and I missed it the first time around! The Paper Florist Dies comes with a ton of dies that can be mixed and matched and you are only limited to your imagination in creating beautiful paper flowers in every color for your projects, cards and scrapbooking projects!

I first sorted through my cardstock paper scraps to determine the colors I wanted to use for this project. I started die cutting all of the pieces I would need. I did play around a bit before assembling the flowers by layering up different components. I kept my flowers fairly simple for this project, but you can definitely add lots more layers to your flowers!

I did use some non-Stampin’ Up! supplies to create this project – including a 6″ x 6″ wood sign, some craft acrylic paint and glue gun. I first prepared the wood sign by lightly sanding it with fine sandpaper to remove any rough spots. I then applied two coats of craft acrylic paint, allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. After the flowers were assembled, I used a glue gun to adhere all of the flowers to the wood sign.

A Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon bow was added to the top of the sign, and I added a large white Iridescent Pastel Gem to the center of the large Berry Burst flower for some added sparkle.

If you like to make seasonal projects just think what you can create with the Paper Florist Dies! Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Spring, Summer and Fall…by changing up the colors of your flowers!

Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled One Sheet Wonder Thank You Cards using the 2023-2025 In Colors

The purpose of my blog post today is twofold. I wanted to share the fun One Sheet Wonder technique with you and to also illustrate how well the new 2023-2025 In Colors, cardstock, ribbon and embellishments coordinate with each other!

I started off with a sheet of Basic White cardstock measuring 8-1/2″ x 11″ and I drew a light pencil line at the center of the cardstock both vertically and horizontally. I then used the four floral stamps and the one star-looking stamp from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set to stamp these images on both sides of the penciled lines – one 2023-2025 In Color per stamp. This is what the panel looks like after it was stamped in each of the colors and images. It is difficult to tell the Moody Mauve from the Copper Clay in this image. The single flower is stamped in Moody Mauve and the “star” in Copper Clay.

Using my Paper Trimmer, I cut the card stock along the pencil lines leaving me with four quarters. I then used a clean eraser to erase any visible pencil lines along the edges. Each of the four panels was trimmed down to 5-1/4″ x 4″. I cut, scored and burnished four card bases – One each in Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat and Boho Blue. You could easily opt for one color for all four of your card bases if you’d like…I just wanted to use all of the In Colors for this project. I chose to not use Pebbled Path as a color for one of my card bases, but you can see the leaf image uses Pebbled Path ink.

I used lengths of Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat and Boho Blue Textured Ribbon and wrapped the ribbon around the stamped panels either vertically or diagonally. Tear & Tape was applied to the back sides of the ribbons and the ends of each ribbon were secured to the back sides of the panels. The Copper Clay ribbon adorned panel will match up with the Copper Clay card base, and so on, and so on.

And, lastly, Boho Blue!

I used some very simple stamping using the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set for this project, but you can certainly step up your stamping for a One Sheet Wonder by second and third-generation stamping images so they recede into the background. I think that would be really pretty. If second and third-generation stamping, I also think choosing one color for a monochromatic look would be awesome!

Okay, back to the cards. The inside panels were stamped with a single image onto the lower left of the panels. I stamped the single flower image in Moody Mauve to match the card front, ribbon and card base, for example, and repeated this for the other three cards. The inside panels were then adhered to the insides of their respective card bases. Each envelope front was decorated in the same manner. Coordinating pieces of 2023-2025 In Color Designer Series Paper were adhered to the envelope flaps and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flaps to finish off the envelopes. A single, coordinating 2023-2025 In Color Dot was adhered to each of the card fronts.

Stampin’ Up! Darling Details Note Card

The Darling Details Bundle and the Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper were used to create this sweet card! Check out the eyelet-like frame!

I began with a white panel and used the two-step stamps to stamp two large flowers and two flower buds in Gorgeous Grape ink. Leaf sprigs were stamped in Parakeet Party and the smaller flowers were stamped in Petal Pink. I used a blender pen to dot the centers of the smaller flowers with Gorgeous Grape ink. The flowers and greenery were stamped radiating out from the center of the panel.

I used the large frame die from the Darling Details Dies to cut out a frame in white and adhered the frame to the stamped panel. A mat in Gorgeous Grape was used to create a drop shadow behind the white panels. I added a panel of the Regals Designer Series Paper to the card front in a Gorgeous Grape polka-dot pattern and then the matted white panels were adhered to the card front. I applied a small amount of Stampin’ Seal onto the center of the card front and attached a large, loose bow tied from Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon. The sentiment label was adhered over top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several die cut open flower and greenery sprigs were die cut using the Darling Details Dies and I tucked these slightly under the sentiment label on the lower right and upper left of the card front.

On the inside panel I stamped the same two-step large flower in Gorgeous Grape and added a leaf sprig which was stamped in Parakeet Party. Small flowers were stamped around the large flower in Petal Pink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flower and leaf images were stamped onto the lower left of the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away from the flap. Several Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems were added to the card front to finish up the card.

I really like the purple, green and white together and the whimsical flower images from the Darling Details Stamp Set are so cute! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! Night of Flight Thank You Card

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week!

My card today uses the Night of Flight Stamp Set (a Host Exclusive Stamp Set) and the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. I did a little bit of ink blending, stamping, fussy cutting, coloring and masking on this card as well…something for everyone!

I started off by stamping the largest moth image from the Night of Flight Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a white panel. I stamped the image again onto a piece of Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper. I fussy cut the image on the masking paper right up to the edge of the image. The protective backing on the masking paper was removed, and I then carefully placed this mask over the stamped image on the white panel.

A blending brush was used to lightly blend Balmy Blue ink around the masked image. I used the greenery image from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set and second-generation stamped this image in Granny Apple Green ink across the bottom of the masked panel, making sure to vary the height of the stamped image. Using the tallest flower stem stamp from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set, I stamped two stems in Granny Apple Green ink onto the panel. The half flower image was stamped in Gorgeous Grape at the tops of the stems and Wild Wheat was used to stamp the flower tops.

I gently removed the mask on the moth and used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. A Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker was used to darken the outline of the moth and to darken some of the spots on the moth. The completed panel was then adhered to a Basic Black mat and then adhered to the card front.

A sentiment from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the sentiment label. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to create a banner end on the left side of the label. I did the same for the label mat, adhered the label to it’s mat, then adhered the sentiment to the upper right of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A small double linen bow was adhered to just under the sentiment label.

I kept the inside panel very simple. The same moth image was partially stamped onto the lower left corner of the panel, and I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. The panel was adhered to a second Basic Black mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated partial stamping of the moth on the envelope front and colored in the image. On the envelope flap I first and second-generation stamped the greenery image a few times to finish up the envelope.

I added multiple Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front in a diagonal pattern from the bottom right to the upper left of the card front. The iridescent jewels look like small points of light rising up out of the grass! Maybe little fireflies?

Stampin’ Up! Lasting Joy Fun Fold Friendship Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects in the Hop this week…I know the projects will be inspirational as always! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by!

My card today was created using the Lasting Joy Stamp Set and the beautiful Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and it is a fun fold!

We have a sketch challenge for today and here it is!

This fun fold is essentially two card bases, where the smaller card base is adhered to the front of the large card base. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and scored the cardstock on the long edge at 3-1/4″. A piece of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper in a Boho Blue print was added to the front of the card base. I punched a 2″ circle from white cardstock using the 2″ Circle Punch and decorated the circle using the flower images from the Lasting Joy Stamp Set. By the way…the flowers in this stamp set coordinate beautifully with the flowers on the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper!

I cut two strips of Night of Navy Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper to 3″ x 3/8″. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to punch banner ends on each strip then adhered the strips together in an X shape and adhere this to the upper right of the small card front. The stamped circle was added over top of the crossed banners using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped the sentiment “I’m so thankful” and stamped flower and greenery images on the lower right and upper left of the panel. The panel was adhered to a mat in Boho Blue and then adhered to the inside of the card. This smaller card was set aside for now.

A piece of the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper in a Night of Navy print was added to the larger Boho Blue card base. The inside panel for this card was stamped with an additional sentiment…”For You” – and I stamped the same flowers and greenery around the sentiment in Boho Blue, Night of Navy and Wild Wheat. The panel was adhered to a Night of Navy mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

Glue was applied to the back of the smaller card and adhered to the front of the large card, making sure that the small card was centered from left to right and top to bottom.

The envelope front was decorated with the same flower and greenery images and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish off the envelope. I added a small blue 2023-2025 In Color Dot to the flower on the front of the card. A length of Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon was used to tie the card closed in lieu of a belly band.

This was a fun card to make…I just love all of the blues together along with a touch of Wild Wheat and the fun fold provides lots of space to use the pretty Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper! You can download, save and print the pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.

Stampin’ Up! So Refreshing Thank You Card

This card was created using the So Refreshing Bundle and Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. A little ink blending was added to the background panel and water droplets were flicked onto the panel to create a watercolor affect. I love how this panel turned out! The pop of the red strawberries also provides added interest to the scene!

I started by using a piece of Post It Tape to mask off a vertical line across a white panel. I ink blended Pretty Peacock across the top of the panel, repositioned the tape and ink blended Lost Lagoon across the bottom portion of the panel. The tape was removed, and I used a small paint brush to flick water droplets across the panel. As soon as I could see the ink lifting under the water droplets, I blotted up the excess water using a dry paper towel so as to prevent the panel from warping.

I stamped and die cut all of the necessary pieces for the card front including a pitcher, glasses, greenery, lemons and little itty-bitty strawberries! Honestly…how cute are these wee little berries? I also die cut a piece of designer series paper in a leaf print in Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock for the table cover…complete with tassels! The pieces were arranged onto the ink blended panel and then the panel was adhered to a mat in Pretty Peacock and this unit was adhered to a card base in Lemon Lolly. The Lemon Lolly, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon are beautiful together! I added a white sentiment label to the card front and popped up the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A small bow using the Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon was added just above the left of the sentiment label.

I kept the inside panel simple and used the two step stamps to stamp the image of the lemons onto the lower corner using Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight ink. The panel was adhered to a mat in Pretty Peacock and then adhered to the inside of the card.

To finish off the card I stamped the same lemon image onto the envelope front and added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several yellow Tinsel Gems were added to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Glorious Gingham Golf-Themed Father’s Day Card

My husband loves the game of golf and seeing as I don’t have a golf-themed stamp set, I challenged myself to create a card for him centered around golf. How did I do?

I used the Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime Twist and Blueberry Bushel along with sentiments from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set and the He’s All That Stamp Set and my 2″ Circle Punch. Oh, and the polka dot embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders set.

I started by adhering a panel of Lemon Lime Twist Glorious Gingham onto a mat in Basic White and then adhered this unit to a card base in Blueberry Bushel. I added a wide strip of Glorious Gingham paper to a mat in Blueberry Bushel cardstock and adhered this towards the top of the card front.

I fashioned a golf tee from a slim strip of Blueberry Bushel cardstock and created a golf ball by punching a piece of white cardstock using my 2″ Circle Punch and then embossing the circle using the polka dot embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders set. The de-bossed side of the circle looks just like a golf ball! I adhered the tee and golf ball to the card front. I then created a flagpole from a slender piece of white cardstock and cut a triangular flag to put on top of the pole using a piece of Lemon Lime Twist gingham paper.

The Father’s Day sentiment from the He’s All That Stamp Set was added to the sentiment label and the sentiment was matted to a piece of Blueberry Bushel and then adhered to the lower right of the card front.

I added an additional sentiment from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set to the inside panel and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

A piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Lastly, I added multiple Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front to finish off the card.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Gift Topper – An Alternate to Gift Bows

I was wrapping my friends birthday gift and I wanted to do something different on the front of the package – something other than a bow or ribbon. I pulled out some white cardstock and the Cheerful Daisies Dies along with the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The wrapping paper was my own – not a Stampin’ Up! product – with a white background and silver and gold hearts. I coordinated my materials to match the wrapping paper.

I used the largest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set to cut out the base for my topper from white cardstock. Using dies from the Cheerful Daisies Dies set, I cut out the largest image of the three daisies and leaves as well as the three detailed daisies from white cardstock. I used a pair of paper snips to cut apart the daisies and leaves from the largest die cut. Then adhered the detailed daisies to the solid image daisies.

Flower centers were cut from Distressed Gold 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper and adhered to the daisy centers. Two leaf sprigs were cut from Silver Foil 12″ x 12″ Specialty Pack paper.

The daisies were adhered to the die cut square using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tucked the silver leaf sprigs under the left and right side of the largest daisy. A bow was tied from Gold Trim and added above the large daisy. I left the bow ends long so that they would hang down on either side of the flowers. Multiple silver Festive Pearls were added around the flowers. The topper was adhered to the wrapped gift using Stampin’ Dimensionals since I thought it might be easier to remove by the recipient.

This is a great alternative to the traditional bow and ribbon to top off a gift and the colors can be coordinate to match your wrapping paper! Fun!

Stampin’ Up! – Exploring In Color – May Paper Pumpkin Kit

Happy Friday!

I received my May Paper Pumpkin Kit – Exploring in Color, which features our new In Colors…aren’t they pretty? This kit is not centered around Father’s Day, but more Adventure. When I saw the beautiful cards and envelopes in the kit, I thought they would be perfect to make into Father’s Day cards. The completed cards will be given to a local hospital for the chronically ill in my State as part of an ongoing volunteer effort. The residents of this hospital look forward to the handmade cards that volunteers provide!

I pulled out my Gone Fishing Stamp Set which has a great Father’s Day sentiment as well as my 2″ Circle Punch and some white cardstock, plus the contents of the kit. Paper Pumpkin kits provide everything you will need to complete the project. In this kit, all of the below items were included plus 9 cards and 9 envelopes – 3 each of 3 different designs! Some fun stickers were also included!

I followed the instructions that were provided in the kit for the most part, except that each of my cards included a Father’s Day sentiment. I used my circle punch to create sentiment labels where the provided sentiment labels were not large enough for the sentiment.

The imagery on the cards and envelopes is beautiful!

I did change up the position of the labels on some of the cards.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons Celebration Easy Fun Fold Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects in the Hop this week…I know the projects will be inspirational as always! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by!

My card today was created using the Beautiful Balloons Bundle and the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. If you are in need of a “Celebration” card…this is the set and paper to add to your shopping list!

Speaking of Celebrating…that’s our theme challenge for today.

This easy fun fold came together quickly. I started with a card base in Blueberry Bushel measuring 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2 and I scored on the long edge at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″. The 2-1/8″ score line is a mountain fold and the 4-1/4″ score line is a valley fold – easy peasy.

I used a confetti patterned paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack to cut panels for each of the three sections of the card base and adhered these down using liquid glue. Stampin’ Seal would work just fine too. Next, I cut a white panel measuring 4-5/8″ x 3-3/8″. This will be the inside panel. I stamped the sentiment “Let’s get our celebration on” onto the panel and stamped a small balloon below the sentiment. Don’t forget to stamp the balloon string! The panel was adhered to a Blueberry Bushel mat then adhered to the inside of the card base. Adhering this panel first will assist in lining up the panel that will be adhered to the card front!

On a scrap piece of white cardstock I stamped two large balloons – one in Blueberry Bushel and one in Berry Burst, and one small balloon in Lemon Lime Twist. The sentiment “You did it!” was stamped onto the Lemon Lime Twist balloon using Blueberry Bushel ink. I then used the coordinating dies from the Beautiful Balloons Dies set to cut out the balloons.

A diagonal striped piece of paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack measuring 4-5/8″ x 3-3/8″ was adhered to a mat in Blueberry Bushel. Closing the card base, this panel was adhered to only the slender panel on the left side of the card – meaning that I only applied glue to the left side of the panel. I was careful to line the front panel up with the previously adhered inside panel.

The two large balloons were arranged onto the striped panel on the card front and adhered down using liquid glue. I placed a small Mini Glue Dot at the center bottom of where the two large balloons meet, and adhered three short pieces of white Baker’s Twine to the Mini Glue Dot. These are the strings for our Balloons! I then adhered the smaller balloon at the base of the large balloons. I added several Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Two small balloons and strings were stamped onto the lower left of the envelope front and I added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish off the envelope. This completes my card for today! I hope you enjoy making this easy fun fold for yourself! This would make a great graduation card, new job card, new home card, etc!
