Inky Bee Stampers

I created today’s easy card using the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set and the lovely Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I will be highlighting our beautiful designer series papers all this week. You only have until June 30 to grab the 15% savings on select papers (13 in total)!

I started by choosing three coordinating papers from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper pack in Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry. I cut the panels down and adhered the three different sized panels to a card base in Very Vanilla. From a Very Vanilla panel measuring 4-1/2″ x 2-3/8″ I stamped the large flower image from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink onto the panel. I then used my Very Best Trio Punch to punch all four corners of the panel using the decorative punch. The panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using a length of Baker’s Twine I colored the twine using the dark shade of a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend. I applied a small amount of Stampin’ Seal to the stamped flower panel and looped the twine several times, adhering it to the area of Stampin’ Seal. The sentiment was stamped onto a 1/2″ piece of Calypso Coral cardstock using Early Espresso ink. I used the Very Best Trio Punch again to add slanted edges to the sentiment label and then adhered the label to the card front using a combination of glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I partially stamped the large flower image from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set and then adhered the panel to a mat in Calypso Coral. This unit was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flower image was also stamped onto the envelope front and I adhered a coordinating piece of Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using my Paper Snips. The dark shade of a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend was used to color three Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the Rhinestones were added to the panel on the card front to finish off the card.
