Happy Friday! I have a quick and easy card for you today using the Tune In Bundle. Anyone remember the old time TV’s where YOU were the channel changer? I do! How about adjusting the rabbit ears? Good times! The Tune In Bundle is one of the bundles that is on sale during the month of June so if you like what you see…get it now before the sale ends on June 30!
I started off by adhering a striped Coastal Cabana print from the Brights Designer Series Paper to a Basic Black mat, then this was adhered to a Pebbled Path card base. On a scrap piece of white cardstock, I stamped the “Stay tuned…” sentiment in Pebbled Path ink. I then second generation stamped the pixels image in Smoky Slate all around and over the sentiment. This sentiment label becomes the screen of the TV. I also used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies from Summer Splash cardstock. The circle was adhered to the lower third of the card front.
I used the Tune In Dies to cut out the TV from Basic Black cardstock. The feet of the TV, the knobs and the speaker were all cut from silver Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. The die cut feet were trimmed with a pair of paper snips to fit onto the black TV cabinet. I also die cut the lightning bolts from silver Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. The antenna was cut from Pebbled Path cardstock. I assembled the pieces to the TV cabinet and adhered the TV at an angle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The lightning bolts were adhered to the card front just above the antenna.
On the inside panel I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment in Pebbled Path ink. The stars image was stamped just above and below the sentiment in Summer Splash ink. The panel was adhered to a Basic Black mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.
I repeated stamping of the stars in Summer Splash ink onto the envelope front. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Three Summer Splash Shimmer Gems were added to the card front to finish up the project.
