Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peek! Iconic Imagery Celebration Card

Today’s card was created using the Iconic Imagery Bundle (stamps and dies), Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon. The fun thing about the Iconic Imagery Bundle and the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper is that you can create a wide variety of cards covering everyday occasions, Fall, Holiday and even Valentine’s Day cards! These products will be available to customers on July 3 in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store.

I selected a diagonal striped paper in Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper pack and adhered a panel of this paper to a Mossy Meadow mat. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base. I used the Iconic Imagery Dies to cut out three Misty Moonlight stars and two Mossy Meadow stars. This die doubles as a snowflake die as well!

I stamped the large “Celebrate” sentiment onto a scrap piece of white cardstock in Misty Moonlight then I second-generation stamped the small star image across the stamped sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink. The sentiment was cut out using the largest label die from the Iconic Imagery Dies. Before adhering the sentiment to the card front, I used a length of the White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon and folded the ribbon to form an upside down “V”. The ribbon was adhered to the card front using several Mini Glue Dots then the sentiment label was adhered to the middle of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three of the stars were adhered around the sentiment label using liquid glue and the remaining two stars were adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside of the card was stamped with the confetti image across the top and sides using Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow inks. I then stamped several small stars over the confetti in Misty Moonlight. The panel was adhered to a Mossy Meadow mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the confetti onto the envelope front and then several stars were stamped over the confetti in Misty Moonlight ink. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. Multiple silver Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems were adhered to the card front to finish up the card.

The versatile Iconic Imagery Bundle along with the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper are a must have for your crafting stash! Be sure to look for these items in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store on July 3.
