Inky Bee Stampers

This birthday card was created using the Friends for Life Bundle, Unbounded Beauty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. The die cut images and all of the sparkle make for a fun and colorful birthday card!

I first selected a Summer Splash print from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel of this paper to a Petunia Pop mat. This panel was then adhered to the front of a Summer Splash card base. I then used the Friends for Life Dies to die cut all of the components on the card front. The die cut “friend” sentiment was cut from Petunia Pop and Basic White cardstock. I also die cut the large heart image with its detailed center from the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty paper in Petunia Pop. The detailed portion of the heart was adhered to a second die cut heart from Petunia Pop cardstock. The large leaf image was die cut from Summer Splash Glimmer Specialty Paper and I die cut multiple Petunia Pop and Summer Splash small hearts from the Glimmer Specialty Paper.

All of the die cut pieces were then arranged onto the card front with the sentiment and large heart popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The small Glimmer hearts were scattered around the card front.

On the inside panel I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment in Summer Splash ink, then I second generation stamped the leaf image in Summer Splash over top of the sentiment. I also stamped the hearts image onto the lower corner in Petunia Pop ink. The panel was adhered to a Petunia Pop mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same heart image was stamped onto the envelope front in Petunia Pop and I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. I adhered three 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems in Petunia Pop to the card front to finish up the project.

The Friends for Life Stamp Set contains a number of sentiments which are perfect for creating a birthday, thinking of you, or friendship card and the Friends for Life Dies have some fun images to include on your cards.
