Inky Bee Stampers

My card for today uses products from the Country Woods Suite Collection which will be available on May 1. Specifically, the card uses the Country Flowers Bundle, Country Lace 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Country Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. A little stamping, coloring and die cutting and the card is completed in no time!

To begin, I adhered a 4″ x 1-1/2″ Misty Moonlight wood patterned paper from the Country Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the bottom of a 5-1/4″ x 4″ panel of the Country Lace Designer Series Paper in a Smoky Slate pattern. This unit was then adhered to the front of a Pool Party card base. The sentiment was stamped on a white sentiment label measuring 3-3/4″ x 1/2″. The sentiment was then adhered to the bottom of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I stamped the image of the stool, tin can and flowers from the Country Flowers Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the images. The coordinating dies from the Country Flowers Dies were used to cut out the images. The bottom of the tin can was adhered to the stool, then the flowers were adhered to the top of the tin can. This unit was then adhered to the card front, just above the sentiment label, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel an additional sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the flower image was partially stamped onto the lower corner of the panel. I used Stampin’ Blends to color in the flower image the same as I did for the card front. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flower image was partially stamped onto the envelope front and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. A small Linen Thread bow was adhered to the lower left of the flower image on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap.

The lovely images and paper from the Country Woods Suite make for perfect friendship cards, thinking of you cards or birthday cards. The Country Flowers Stamp Set also includes a sympathy sentiment.
