Inky Bee Stampers

I have a quick and simple card for you today that was created with the Delicate Forest Stamp Set, Countryside Corners Dies and the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.

I started off by die cutting a window on a 5-1/4″ x 4″ white cardstock panel using the Countryside Corners Dies. Once the window was cut out, I then embossed this panel using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. On a separate panel measuring 5″ x 3-3/4″, I used a blending Brush to blend Pretty Peacock ink over the panel surface. The large tree image from the Delicate Forest Stamp Set was then stamped onto the ink blended panel using Pretty Peacock ink.

The ink blended and stamped panel was then adhered to the card front using liquid glue. The embossed panel was adhered on top of the ink blended panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside panel, the large tree iamge from the Delicate Forest Stamp Set was stamped onto the center of the panel using Lost Lagoon ink. I then stamped the “Sending our Love” sentiment over top of the tree using Pretty Peacock ink.

The same tree image was then partially stamped onto the envelope front and envelope flap in Lost Lagoon ink. To finish up the card I adhered a Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon bow to the bottom of the window on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. Several Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems were added to the card front as well.

Sign Up by February 26 for this Free Online Technique Class – Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 1 pm EST!

A while ago I asked what kind of techniques you’d like me to share more information on, and one of the responses I received was how to use Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils!

In this free class, I will show you how I use these pencils to really make my stamped images pop, how to use the pencils in different ways to apply color, along with other tips and tricks.

Here are the details on this Technique Class, including instructions on how to sign up:

• Enjoy this free Technique Class from the comfort of your own home via a Zoom video call. This allows you to be in your own workspace without the need to travel in case you’d like to create along with me! The Zoom platform will also allow you to ask questions in real time!
• To sign up for this free Technique Class, email me at inkybeestampers@gmail.com no later than Monday, February 26, 2024. You must sign up with me by the deadline in order to participate and you must provide a valid email address.
• The Zoom Call In information will be emailed to all who sign up by Tuesday, February 27. It is recommended that you join the call from a computer, laptop, or tablet for the best viewing experience.
• The class is expected to last approximately one hour but could run a little longer.
• If you would like to craft along with me or create this project at a later time, I will be using the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set for the stamped image example (see more information below if you’d like to order any of the supplies I will be using for this class)
• Once the class is completed, all participants will receive a document containing the tips and tricks I share in the class along with a card project tutorial.
