I have a fun card for you today created with the A Little Latte Suite of products! The suite includes the Latte Love Bundle, A Little Latte 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots, and Polka Dot Ribbon. These products will be available as Online Exclusives in the online store beginning on March. 5!
I selected a plaid print from the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper pack and adhered a panel to an Early Espresso mat. This was then adhered to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut out a rectangle from Lemon Lolly cardstock. The coffee cup was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock and the fill was stamped inside of the coffee cup using Pecan Pie ink. The coordinating die from the Latte Love Dies was used to cut out the image. Using scraps of Pecan Pie, Early Espresso and Basic Black cardstock, I also used the dies to cut out the pieces for the coffee pot and then assembled the pieces together.

The assembled coffee pot and coffee cup were temporarily placed on the Lemon Lolly rectangle to determine placement and I then stamped the “this one’s for you” sentiment in Pecan Pie ink just to the right of the tilted coffee pot. The swirl image from the Latte Love Stamp Set was stamped in Pecan Pie ink just below the coffee pot pour spout. I think this swirl image could also be stamped as “steam” rising from the cup, but I thought I would use it to represent coffee being poured into the cup! The coffee pot and coffee cup, along with the die cut coffee beans were then adhered to the rectangle. Before adhering the rectangle to the card front, I added a short length of the Polka Dot Ribbon at an angle to the card front and I used paper snips to fringe the ribbon. The rectangle was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside panel I stamped the “thanks so much” sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. The overhead image of the coffee cup was stamped onto the lower corner in Early Espresso ink and I stamped the heart circle in the center of the cup using Pecan Pie ink. The cup rim and handle were colored in using Stampin’ Blends in Calypso Coral. I used a blender pen and Early Espresso ink to darken the area around the heart image. The coffee bean image was stamped in Early Espresso ink then colored in using a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend. The panel was adhered to an Early Espresso mat, then adhered to the inside of the card base.

I again stamped the coffee bean image onto the lower corner of the envelope front and colored the image in with a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend. A coordinating piece of the designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. I added three Petal Pink Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots to the card front to complete the project.

What a perfect suite of products to create coffee-themed cards for all of your coffee-loving friends! Not a fan of coffee…make it a hot chocolate instead! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
