Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details Congratulations Card

I used the Everyday Details Bundle to create today’s card. I have used the Everyday Details Dies on another project…but not the Everyday Details Stamp Set. Check out this sweet image of a bird’s nest! This is a very easy image to color and I love it in these soft colors!

I started by adhering a designer series paper panel from the Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pack to a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock measuring 5-1/2″ x 4″. The designer series paper was cut to 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. This lovely floral print in Pool Party and white sets the tone for the soft look of this card! The nest image was second generation stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto a scrap piece of white cardstock and I used Stampin’ Blends in Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake to color in the image.

Once I had finished coloring the bird’s nest, I used the largest circle die from the Everyday Details Dies to cut out the image. On a second scrap piece of white cardstock I stamped the sentiment and used the second from smallest circle to cut out the label. Using a length of Linen Thread, I wove the thread through the punched holes at the top of the larger circle and tied a bow. I left the bow ends fairly long, but you can certainly trim as desired.

The large circle was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned towards the upper left of the card front. The sentiment label was also adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned to the lower right of the card front.

On the inside panel, I stamped an additional sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink, then stamped the small, dotted image in Pool Party ink around the sentiment. The panel was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat, then adhered to the inside of the card base.

The same small, dotted image was stamped onto the envelope front in Pool Party ink. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Several Pool Party Opaque Faceted Gems were added to the card front to complete the project.

The Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Opaque Faceted Gems are both Sale-A-Bration items which you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration with qualifying orders! If you placed an order of $100 you could claim both of these items for free during Sale-A-Bration! Who doesn’t love free?!
