Stampin’ Up! Sending Love Valentine’s Day Card

I have another Valentine’s Day card idea for you today using the adorable Sending Love Dies, Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and the Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. You can earn the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper for free during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order and this paper is perfect for Valentine’s Day cards!

A panel of the Real Red plaid from the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper pack was adhered to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base. On a white panel measuring 5″ x 3-3/4″, I stamped a sentiment across the panel, then stamped several flowers with stems from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set. The Sending Love Dies were used to cut out the remainder of the components for the scene including hearts, a mailbox, mailbox flag, mailbox post, letter, grass and a bush.

The mailbox die cut from the Sending Love Dies is extra fun! Before adhering the mailbox together, I used a small black brad to attach the mailbox flag to the front of the mailbox. Once this mailbox is assembled you can actually place a small letter inside of the mailbox and the mailbox flag is moveable! So much fun!

The assembled mailbox was then adhered to the mailbox post, then adhered to the white, stamped panel. The small letter was placed partially inside of the mailbox and the bush and grass die cuts were then adhered towards the bottom of the panel. The decorated panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set was stamped onto the inside panel and several more flowers and stems were stamped onto the bottom of the panel. The panel was then adhered to a Real Red mat and then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same flower image was stamped onto the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was added to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away from the flap.

The Sending Love Dies combined with the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper make for some cute Valentine’s Day cards! Who will you be sending love to on Valentine’s Day?
