Inky Bee Stampers

Are you getting excited for Sale-A-Bration? I’m excited to share a card today created using Sale-A-Bration items from the upcoming January-February Sale-A-Bration catalog! There are some great Level 1 and Level 2 items (free with a $50 purchase or greater or a $100 purchase or greater) in the catalog that you are going to love! This is a sneak peek of the Jungle Pals Stamp Set and Jungle Pals Dies along with the Sunny Days 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

From the Sunny Days Designer Series Paper I picked a cloud and rain pattern in Pool Party and Shaded Spruce. Using the Jungle Pals Dies, I die cut a number of components to build my forest scene from Pool Party, Shaded Spruce, Early Espresso and Calypso Coral cardstock scraps. The pieces were adhered to the designer series paper panel and, where necessary, I trimmed any overlapping pieces flush with the designer series paper panel. The panel was adhered to a Shaded Spruce mat, then adhered to the card front.

From the Jungle Pals Stamp Set, the adorable sloth was stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut using the Jungle Pals Dies. I used Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. The sloth was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. He’s hanging from the middle tree branch! Sloths always look like they are smiling…so cute!

I used the Zany Zoo Stamp Set for the sentiments. The “Happy Birthday to You” sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink and I used the smallest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Another sentiment from the Zany Zoo Stamp Set was stamped on the inside of the card and I also used the confetti image and stamped this around the sentiment in Pool Party ink. Back to the Jungle Pals Stamp Set – I stamped the image of the alligator onto the lower corner of the panel and colored the image in with Pool Party and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. The panel was then adhered to another Shaded Spruce mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same confetti image was stamped onto the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. Several Opaque Faceted Gems (another Sale-A-Bration item!) were added to the card front to complete the card.

The Jungle Pals images are wonderful and make for adorable children’s cards that you’ll want to add to your crafting stash! You can download, save and print the pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below.
