It’s time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! If you are coming from Nel’s blog or if you are starting off the Hop from my blog today…welcome! Our theme for the Hop this month is “Celebrate Spring”, and we can interpret this any way that we’d like. I know you will see a lot of inspiration from my team members in the Hop today so be sure to use the links at the bottom of this blog post to check them out!

Nothing says spring like lots and lots of pretty flowers! I created this card using the Dainty Delight Stamp Set, Dainty Delight Dies and the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. The Dainty Delight set is one of my favorites and I have been anxious to color in the embossed flowers using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder!
I started off by embossing a white panel using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. I used Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Soft Sea Foam to color in the raised, embossed flowers and leaves. I took my time coloring this panel and the results were so worth it! The panel was adhered to a Gorgeous Grape mat, then adhered to the front of a Lemon Lolly card base. Anyone else a fan of yellow and purple together? It’s such a great color combination!

I created a diamond shape using the two largest square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set in Gorgeous Grape and Basic White. The flowers decorating the diamond were all die cut using the Dainty Delight Dies. Once I was happy with the arrangement of the flowers on the diamond, I then started adhering the flowers to the diamond using liquid glue. Two of the daisies and the small Fresh Freesia flowers were adhered to the diamond using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The diamond was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used two of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the sentiment label in Lemon Lolly and Gorgeous Grape. The sentiment was adhered just below the diamond using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside panel, I stamped an additional sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink. The Queen Anne’s Lace image and the grass image were stamped onto the lower corner of the panel in Soft Sea Foam ink. Keeping with a pastel theme, I used Stampin’ Blends in Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam and Bubble Bath to color in the images. The panel was then adhered to a Gorgeous Grape mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same images of the Queen Anne’s Lace and grass images were stamped onto the envelope front in Soft Sea Foam and colored the same as the inside panel. The grass image was stamped onto the envelope flap, also in Soft Sea Foam, and colored in. I tied a small double Linen Thread bow and added the bow towards the bottom of the diamond on the card front. To finish up the card I added three Bubble Bath Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the front of the card.

While the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and Dainty Delight Dies are no longer bundled, you can still find these items in the Annual Catalog. You will find the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog, or all can be found in the online store! Thank you, Faith! I colored the embossed flowers with Stampin’ Blends and only colored the portions that were raised if that helps.

Carol, this is absolutely gorgeous. I am impressed with how neat the embossed piece is. I don’t think I could color the flowers without running off on the white. Yours is perfect. A lovely, lovely spring card.💖😊
