Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bunches Birthday Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

It’s time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! If you are starting off the Hop from my blog today…Welcome! Our theme for the Hop this month is “Celebrate”, and we can interpret this any way that we’d like. I know you will see a lot of inspiration from my team members in the Hop today so be sure to use the links at the bottom of this blog post to check them out! Let’s go!

My card today celebrates a birthday! And I have another sneak peek for you from the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. I used the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set and the Perennial Postage Dies to create today’s card along with the Flight & Airy 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper which is a Sale-A-Bration item that you can earn for free with a $50 purchase. These items will be available for customer orders on January 4th.

To begin I used the second to largest die from the Perennial Postage Dies set to cut out a rectangle from white cardstock. I stamped the largest blueberry image onto this panel in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and used Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends were used to color and shade the leaves and I used Blueberry Bushel, Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss to color in the blueberries. You can read more on how I colored this image on the linked pdf tutorial.

I selected a pretty leaf and bird print in Lost Lagoon from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper pack and adhered a panel of this print to a Pretty Peacock card base. The stamped and colored white panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A loop of Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon was added towards the base of the blueberry stem and the sentiment label was adhered over the ribbon loop using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped the birthday sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then partially stamped the smaller of the blueberry images onto the lower corner of the panel. This image was colored the same way as the image on the card front. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same blueberry image was partially stamped onto the envelope front and colored in with Stampin’ Blends. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope front and the excess paper was trimmed away from the flap. To finish up the card I added several Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to the card front.
