Inky Bee Stampers

Today’s card involves some simple stamping and a bit of coloring and that’s it! I used the Tiled Techniques Stamp Set to create this pretty patterned card. The Tiled Techniques Stamp Set is a stand-alone stamp set that will be available from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog on January 7! Sentiments were pulled from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set.

I started off with a white panel measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. A temporary adhesive was used to secure the panel to the center of a piece of grid paper. The grid lines helped me to stamp the images consistently. I used the half diamond image from the Tiled Techniques stamp set for this card. The first half diamond was stamped towards the center of the panel in Pretty Peacock ink. I then rotated the image to complete the stamped diamond. I then repeated stamping of this image across the entire panel. I left about a 1/4″ between each diamond.

Once the stamping was complete, I used Pool Party and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends to color in the flower petals, the area around the petals and the hearts on either side of each diamond. The Countryside Corners Dies were used to cut out a white sentiment label and a Pretty Peacock mat. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment was stamped onto the white label in Pretty Peacock ink. The label was then adhered to the larger Pretty Peacock octagon. Before adhering the label to the card front, I first adhered a length of Summer Splash Bordered Ribbon across the card front diagonally. The sentiment label was then adhered to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel, the half diamond was stamped in each corner in Pool Party ink. The “Celebrate” sentiment was then stamped onto the panel in Pretty Peacock ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the half diamond onto the envelope front in Pool Party ink. Three Summer Splash Resin Dots were added across the top of the sentiment label to complete the card.
