Inky Bee Stampers

Today’s card was created using the Adventure Together Bundle along with paper from the Bloom Impressions 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I started off by adhering an Azure Afternoon print from the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper measuring 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ to the front of a Shy Shamrock standard card base. The print looks like a beautiful blue sky! Next, I selected a floral print from the same pack of paper and cut this to 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″. I fussy cut the top of the strip along the very top to accentuate the flowers. I then used the Adventure Together Dies to cut just the top of a strip of Shy Shamrock cardstock measuring 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ using the grass die from the set. I positioned the grass die along the top edge of the cardstock and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine two times so that the grass edge continued along the entire length of the strip. The grass strip was then adhered to the bottom of the floral strip, then this was adhered to the bottom of the card front using liquid glue. I left the top edge of the floral print strip unglued so that I can later tuck trees under the edge.

I used the large and small pine tree from the Adventure Together Stamp Set to stamp four trees in Shy Shamrock ink onto Shy Shamrock cardstock then I used the Adventure Together Dies to cut out the tree images. The trees were tucked under the floral strip towards the left side of the card front. The camper, chair and fire pit were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink then I used Stampin’ Blends in Shy Shamrock, Shaded Spruce, Pool Party, Gray Granite, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie to color in the images. The coordinating dies from the Adventure Together Dies were used to cut out the images. The die cuts were then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Shy Shamrock ink onto a piece of white cardstock, then I used one of the sentiment label dies from the Adventure Together Dies to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment was adhered to the top right of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The pine trees were stamped several times onto the inside panel in Shy Shamrock ink then the panel was adhered to the inside of the card base.

I repeated stamping of the pine trees onto the card front and a coordinating piece of the floral designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. I used a pair of Paper Snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap.
