Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peek – Mixed Florals Thinking of You Card

I have a pretty card for you today created using the Mixed Floral Bundle, Mixed Labels Bundle, Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon. The Mixed Floral Bundle and Mixed Labels Bundle are part of the Mixed Media Florals Suite Collection that are upcoming, new Online Exclusives available beginning on January 7 for customers! The Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper and Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon are products you can earn during Sale-A-Bration beginning on January 7! I will be providing more information on Sale-A-Bration as the date gets closer so stay tuned…

The Mixed Floral Stamp Set contains some beautiful floral images. I stamped the Coneflowers, Baby’s Breath, leaf sprig and Ladybugs in Tuxedo Memento Black ink onto white cardstock then colored the images in using a variety of Stampin’ Blends. Check out those sweet Ladybugs! I then used the coordinating dies from the Mixed Floral Dies to cut out the images. I used the Mixed Labels Stamp Set for the sentiment on the card front and then cut out the sentiment using this pretty label die from the Mixed Labels Dies set.

I selected a Fresh Freesia striped print from the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel to a black mat. I then used a length of Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon and wrapped the ribbon around the bottom of the panel and secured the ends to the back of the panel. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. The sentiment label was adhered over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then arranged and adhered the floral die cut images using Mini Glue Dots, tucking the ends under the top of the sentiment label.

On the inside panel, I partially stamped the Coneflower image onto the lower right corner of the panel then colored the image using Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a black mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same Coneflower image was partially stamped onto the envelope and colored with Stampin’ Blends. A coordinating piece of the designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Three Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were adhered to the card front to finish up the project.
