Inky Bee Stampers

Are you a snow lover? I love a pretty snowstorm as long as I’m warm and cozy in my house! I’m not a big fan of driving in the white stuff, though! Today’s card is a CAS from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog using the One of a Kind Bundle. I thought this card covered in snowflakes was so beautiful in white, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. The sentiment on the card front along with the sentiment label are from the Christmas Labels Bundle.

I started off with a card base in Thick Basic White cardstock. The swirl image from the One of a Kind Stamp Set was stamped across the card front a few times in Night of Navy ink. I then used the three small snowflake stamps from the same stamp set to fill in the spaces in between the swirls in Pool Party ink. A Pool Party Stampin’ Blend was used to splatter ink across the card front.

Several large snowflakes were stamped in Lost Lagoon ink onto white cardstock then die cut using the One of a Kind Dies. I also die cut several smaller snowflakes from white, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock cardstock. The Pretty Peacock snowflakes were adhered to the stamped and die cut larger snowflakes. I used a sponge dauber to lightly blend Pool Party ink around the edges of the white snowflakes. The “Merry Christmas to you” sentiment from the Christmas Labels Stamp Set was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto a scrap piece of white cardstock. I then used the coordinating die from the Christmas Labels Dies to cut out the image. A length of Silver & White Sheer Trim was adhered diagonally across the card front using Stampin’ Seal. The sentiment label and snowflakes were then arranged onto the card front, then adhered using liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “Sending a flurry of happy wishes” sentiment from the One of a Kind Stamp Set was stamped on the inside panel in Pretty Peacock ink. I then stamped the swirl image two times in Night of Navy ink. The small snowflake images were stamped in Pool Party ink across the top half of the panel. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

A Pool Party Stampin’ Blend was used to color five of the small White Loose Snowflakes and these were added to the card front using a small drop of liquid glue. I repeated stamping of the small snowflake images in Pool Party ink on the envelope front and across the envelope flap to complete the card.
