Inky Bee Stampers

I am excited to share the cute Christmas Friends Bundle with you today! The Christmas Friends Stamp Set includes four adorable festive critters, several holiday sentiments and a pine tree image. The Christmas Friends Dies will cut out the stamped images plus dies are included for gifts, ribbons, bows, stars, swag, music notes, a bow tie and large circle die! It doesn’t get any cuter than this!

I started off with a white cardstock panel measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″ and I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the panel in Cherry Cobbler ink. I used a scrap piece of cardstock and cut some gentle curves across the length of the cardstock, then used a Blending Brush to ink blend some snow hills just above the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink. I then stamped several of the pine tree image on the lower left of the panel in Shaded Spruce ink. I used the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the upper two thirds of the panel. A length of Iridescent Striped Trim (which was cut in half lengthwise) was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back using Stampin’ Seal

On a scrap piece of cardstock, I stamped the owl image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the image in using Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends. A single pine tree was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, and I used the coordinating Christmas Friends Dies to cut out the images. I also die cut several gift boxes, a ribbon and bows using the Festive 12″ x 12″ Glimmer Paper and White 12″ x 12″ Glimmer Specialty Paper. The gifts were assembled and adhered to the card front using liquid glue. The pine tree was also adhered with liquid glue. The owl was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The panel was adhered to a Cherry Cobbler mat then adhered to the card front using liquid glue.

On the inside panel I stamped an additional sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink. The pine tree was stamped several times in the lower corner, and I stamped and colored the owl image onto the opposite lower corner. I used a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blend to add some “ground” below the owl. The panel was adhered to a Cherry Cobbler mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the owl on the envelope front and colored in the image. A single pine tree was stamped onto the envelope flap. Wink of Stella was added to the rim and pom-pom on the images of the owls. I added multiple white Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs to the card front to complete the project!
