Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery Season’s Greetings Card

Ready for Christmas in July? I have a very special card for you today using products from the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection! This suite of products is now available in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store! And wow…this is a beautiful suite! Specifically, I have used the Golden Greenery Bundle, Greetings of the Season Bundle, Season of Green & Gold 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Graceful Greenery Vellum 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I selected a Very Vanilla and gold diamond print from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and cut a panel measuring 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. I cut a second floral print in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive to 4-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ and adhered this strip to the left side of the first panel. This unit was then adhered to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base.

I die cut a number of greenery sprigs from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper as well as the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper using the Golden Greenery Dies. Yes! The dies cut out these beautiful sprigs from the paper! I also die cut the large berry sprig you see in the center of the card from a scrap piece of white cardstock using the Golden Greenery Dies. I used Real Red, Cherry Cobbler and Bronze Stampin’ Blends to color in the berry image then used a Stampin’ Blend Color Lifter to lift out highlights on the tops of the berries. The die cut greenery pieces were arranged onto the card front and when I was happy with their placement, I adhered everything down using a little liquid glue.

Using the Greetings of the Season Bundle I stamped a sentiment onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Cherry Cobbler ink and I used an oval sentiment label die from the Greetings of the Season Dies to cut out the sentiment. The sentiment label was adhered to the lower center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of the card, I adhered another 1-1/2″ strip of the Old Olive and Mossy Meadow print to the left side of a Very Vanilla panel. An additional sentiment from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set was stamped onto the panel in Cherry Cobbler then the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

I first and second generation stamped the pine bough image from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set onto the envelope front in Garden Green ink. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. To finish up the card I added some Cherry Cobbler Adhesive-Backed Berries to the front of the card.

It is difficult sometimes to capture gold accents on designer series paper, but I think you can see these pretty accents in some of these photos. The Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection is truly wonderful…and unbelievably beautiful! If you would like to recreate the card I have made here you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
