Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives Sneak Peek! Golden Greenery Note Card

Happy Friday! I’m excited to share today’s sneak peek with you of upcoming Online Exclusives that will be available to customers on July 3…that’s only a few weeks away! I was inspired by my friend and team member, Mary Deatherage to create this pretty note card. While the new Online Exclusive products that I have used for today’s card are clearly holiday themed, I wanted to share with you how you can stretch these products to create everyday type cards by selecting neutral prints and images from your holiday sets. It is a win-win when you can use your stamps and dies for more than one season!

I started off with a Mossy Meadow card base measuring 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ which was scored at 4-1/4″. This creates a fun peek-a-boo panel on the front of the card. I selected a Mossy Meadow and Old Olive plaid print from the Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper for the largest panel on my card front and a woodgrain print from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper for the slender panel. These panels were matted to Old Olive cardstock, then adhered to the card base. The plaid and woodgrain prints look awesome together!

To brighten up the card I stamped two of the greenery images from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink inks. I then used the coordinating Golden Greenery Dies to cut out the images. I also die cut an additional greenery sprig from Old Olive cardstock and one from the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper. Using the largest label die from the Greetings of the Season Dies, I die cut two large tags – one from Old Olive cardstock and one from a woodgrain print. The tags were tied together using a length of white Baker’s Twine. The die cut greenery was arranged onto the tag unit then adhered with liquid glue. The tag unit was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock and I used one of the small tags from the Greetings of the Season Dies to cut out the sentiment. A short length of Baker’s Twine was added to the sentiment label then the label was adhered to the base of the larger tag unit using a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.

The two sprigs from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set were stamped on to the inside panel in Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink. The panel was then adhered to an Old Olive mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same sprig images were stamped onto the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. Three Petunia Pop Adhesive-Backed Pearls were added to the card front to finish up the project.

The Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection (you can view the flyer for this suite by clicking on the link in the article below) as well as the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper are truly beautiful and a must have if you will be creating holiday cards! Just know that these items can be used to create everyday type cards as well! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below. Happy crafting!
