Inky Bee Stampers

Here is another sneak peek of upcoming Online Exclusive products! Today’s card was created using the Frosted Forest Bundle which includes the Frosted Forest Stamp Set, Frosted Forest Dies, and the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks. Decorative Masks make creating beautiful images so easy using a little ink and Blending Brushes! The Frosted Forest Bundle will be available to customers beginning on July 3 from the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store.

I used the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks to create a large, branched tree in Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce. and two pine trees in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce. The coordinating dies from the Frosted Forest Dies were used to cut out the images. I cut a Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce panel from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper and adhered the panel to a Shaded Spruce mat. The die cut trees were adhered to the panel with the largest pine tree popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

I stamped the sentiment for the card front in Shaded Spruce ink then used a label die from the Unbounded Love Dies to cut out the sentiment. A length of white Diagonal Trim was adhered to the back of the sentiment label at an angle, then the label was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I trimmed the ribbon ends flush with the edges of the panel mat.

The “thank you” sentiment was stamped on the inside panel in Shaded Spruce ink. I used the pine tree Decorative Masks to create a tree on the lower corner of the inside panel then lightly blended Shaded Spruce ink around the tree. The panel was adhered to a Shaded Spruce mat, then adhered to the inside of the card. The shading around the tree give the impression of greenery in the distance and this is a great way to create depth to the image.

The Frosted Forest masks were used once again to blend a small pine tree onto the envelope front in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was added to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. Three green Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the card front to complete the project.

I can’t wait to use the Frosted Forest Bundle again! These trees would look fantastic in a monochromatic theme, or the trees can be flocked with snow using Embossing Paste for the holidays!
