My May Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived, and I spent about an hour assembling the cards from the kit. This kit is geared towards masculine cards – specifically Father’s Day cards. But you can easily change the sentiments to suit your needs! The kit made a total of nine cards – 3 each of 3 different designs, and the kit includes everything to complete the cards including card bases, envelopes, cut out embellishments, sentiment labels, adhesives, a stamp set and an ink spot!
This card has a popped-up panel and sentiment label with a leafy embellishment sitting behind it. Simple, yet beautiful! Notice the subdued colors. Perfect for the guys!
On the inside of the card, I stamped a Father’s Day sentiment and the image of the trees in Misty Moonlight ink.
The card above is my favorite card from the kit. I love the multi-tone woodgrain background. The colors included in this kit are Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party and Wild Wheat. Beautiful colors together!
The inside of this card also received an additional stamped sentiment and the tree image.
And here is the third style provided in this kit. More woodgrain background…I love this! Check out the leaf accents under the sentiment label. The inside of this card received the same treatment with an additional sentiment and the tree image.
The envelopes are all in a woodgrain, too! And I decorated the fronts of these envelopes with the image of the trees.
I did make all nine of these cards Father’s Day cards as I will be sending these to a local hospital for chronically ill patients as part of a volunteer initiative that I participate in. I know these cards will help to brighten their day!
