Inky Bee Stampers

I’m excited to share this card with you today using the lovely Seaside Wishes Bundle. This bundle consists of the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set and the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder which includes dies that work together with the embossing folder!

Instead of using a designer series paper for the background of this card I opted to use the sea glass stamps from the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set and first and second generation stamped these images all over a Pool Party panel using Pool Party, Summer Splash and Balmy Blue inks. I also used the dotted stamp to second generation stamp some dots in between the sea glass images in Smoky Slate ink. The stamped panel was adhered to a Calypso Coral mat and I wrapped a length of Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon around the panel before adhering it to the Summer Splash card front.

To decorate the card front I stamped several of the star fish onto Basic White cardstock in Peach Pie and Calypso Coral inks. The images were cut out using the Seaside Wishes Dies. Several sand dollars were second generation stamped onto white cardstock and die cut as well. A third sand dollar was also die cut using one of the detailed cut out dies. Lastly I die cut three of the sea grass images from Summer Splash cardstock. The die cuts were then arranged onto the card front using a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I opted to add a sentiment and this was stamped in Summer Splash ink. The sentiment is very generic and will suite most any occasion. The small and large sea stars were stamped onto the lower corner of the panel using Peach Pie and Calypso Coral inks and I added some dots in Smoky Slate. The panel was adhered to a Calypso Coral mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The small and large sea star images were stamped onto the envelope front and I stamped a single small star fish in Calypso Coral ink onto the envelope flap. Several Peach Pie and Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Resid Dots were added to the card front to finish up the project.

I love how the Peach Pie and Calypso Coral accents on this card compliment the blues! the Seaside Wishes Bundle coordinate beautifully with the Beauty of the Deep Stamp Set and Dies as well as the Sea Turtle Stamp Set.
