This adorable birthday card features images and a sentiment from the Hearts & Hugs Bundle and the 2024-2026 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. These products will be available on May 1 for customers!
I selected a piece of the Peach Pie circle print paper from the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel to an Early Espresso mat, then adhered this to the front of a Peach Pie card base. Peach (as in Peach Pie) and dark brown (Early Espresso) have to be one of my favorite color combinations ever! I used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a circle from white cardstock. I also used the multi-heart die from the Hearts & Hugs Dies to cut out multiple hearts in Peach Pie. The negative of the hearts die cut was used to paper piece the hearts across the top curve of the circle and the negative was then discarded.

The hamster was stamped onto a scrap piece of cardstock in Early Espresso ink, and I used Copper Clay and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. I cut out the hamster using the coordinating die from the Hearts & Hugs Dies and the hamster was adhered towards the bottom of the die cut circle. The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap piece of white cardstock in Early Espresso, and I used the included label die from the Hearts & Hugs Dies to cut out the sentiment. A length of Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon was adhered to the back of the circle unit and the circle was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment label was adhered over the bottom of the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The multi-heart image was used to stamp hearts in Peach Pie ink onto the upper right and lower left corners of the inside panel. The panel was adhered to an Early Espresso mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the hearts onto the envelope front. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. I used the dark shade of a Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend to color three Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The rhinestones were then placed around the circle on the card front to finish up the project.
