Inky Bee Stampers

I have really had a lot of fun these past few days pulling out old favorite stamp sets and dies that will soon be retiring! I hope you have enjoyed the projects that I have shared with you. Retiring products will be gone by the end of April so if you see anything you like, you should consider grabbing them before they are gone. These retiring products are making way for new products that will be released on May 1 from the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog…and that’s really exciting! I should have a project to share with you this Friday using new, upcoming products…so stay tuned!

Today’s card was created using the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set and Natural Prints Dies. Both of these items are retiring. If you are a nature-lover like me, then you’ll like this stamp set and dies! I also used the Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper which you can find in the Online Exclusives section of the online store.

I started off with a panel of the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper in a Lost Lagoon and Daffodil Delight print. I used the fern image from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set and repeatedly first and second generation stamped the image in Pretty Peacock ink across the panel. The panel was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat then this unit was adhered to the front of a Daffodil Delight card base.

Using the Natural Prints Dies I cut out the wreath image from Lost Lagoon cardstock. I also die cut two greenery sprigs from Pretty Peacock cardstock and two greenery sprigs from Daffodil Delight cardstock. The wreath was adhered to the card front using liquid glue. I then arranged the greenery sprigs on the left side of the wreath and adhered these in place using liquid glue. A double bow tied from Linen Thread was also adhered to the left side of the wreath. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock and I used the label die from the Natural Prints Dies to cut it out. The sentiment label was adhered across the middle of the wreath using a double stack of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I used the fern image to first and second generation stamp the image onto the lower corner of the panel using Pretty Peacock ink. The panel was adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the fern image on the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Four Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems were added to the wreath on the card front and one gem was added to the sentiment label to finish up the card.
