Stampin’ Up! Forever Love Card

Happy Monday! For those that celebrate Easter, I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend surrounded by family or friends! For today’s card I’m using some more products that will soon be retiring…and boy…am I going to miss a few of these items!

I used the Lifetime of Love Bundle, Forever Love 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Foiled Flowers Card & Envelopes and Distressed Gold 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper. The Forever Love paper, Distressed Gold paper and the Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes will all be retiring at the end of this month! I will be sad to see these items go!

I started off with a card base from the Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes pack. A 5-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ piece of the Forever Love Designer Series Paper in a Pretty Peacock trellis print was adhered to a slightly wider strip of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. This unit was then adhered to the front of the gold foiled card base.

I used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a circle from Very Vanilla cardstock. The “Forever & always” sentiment was stamped onto the center of the circle in Pretty Peacock ink. I used the Lifetime of Love Dies to cut out the circle wreath image from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and this was adhered to the Very Vanilla sentiment label. Before adhering the sentiment to the card front, I adhered loops of gold Simply Elegant Trim to the lower right corner of the card front, then adhered the sentiment label over top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I left a sentiment off of the inside panel. A sentiment can be added at a later time, depending on the need. This card is a great “I love you” card, anniversary card, or wedding card…your choice! From the Lifetime of Love Stamp Set, I did stamp the large open leaf image in the upper right corner of the panel, then stamped off two times on either side of the first stamped image in Pretty Peacock ink. I repeated this for the lower left corner. The panel was adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping the same large open leaf image onto the envelope front. The envelope flap needs no decoration! The envelopes that come with the Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes have an intricately cut flap on them that is stunning! I added a single bird to the sentiment label on the card front from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds embellishment pack to finish up the card.

I love all of the gold foil on this card! If you would like to purchase any of the items used to create this card you will find links to my online store below for each item. If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below. Have a wonderful day!
