To continue showcasing soon-to-retire products, today’s card was created using the Timeless Arrangements Bundle (stamps and dies) and the Delightfully Eclectic 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This card design is very simple and the bright colors against the black background make a big statement! Both the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set, Timeless Arrangements Dies and Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper will be retiring at the end of April.
I started off with a panel of the swan print against a black background and this panel was matted to a Crushed Curry mat. Before adhering the panel to the card front, I wrapped a length of Herringbone Ribbon around the top of the panel (this ribbon is also retiring at the end of April). The ends were secured to the back of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Cajun Craze card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used the largest sentiment die included with the Timeless Arrangements Dies to cut out a label and stamped the “Thank you” sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. I also die cut several leaf, berry and a flower sprig using the included dies from Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green. The die cut greenery pieces were adhered to the back of the top and bottom of the sentiment label, then the label was adhered over the wrapped ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The dies in the Timeless Arrangements Dies make decorating your card fronts very easy!
An additional sentiment was stamped on the inside panel and I stamped several greenery images in the lower corner in Cajun Craze, Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry. The panel was adhered to a Crushed Curry mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.
The same greenery images were stamped onto the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. I used paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap.
