This cheerful Hello Spring card was created using the Excellent Eggs Bundle, Bright Skies Dies and the Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The Excellent Eggs Bundle is a fun set for creating Easter cards…but also this Spring card!
I chose a pretty Pool Party print for my card front from the Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper which was adhered to a Fresh Freesia mat. The ricrac image and the eggs were die cut using the Excellent Eggs Dies and the cloud, flowers and flower stems were die cut using the Bright Skies Dies. The ricrac was adhered to the designer series paper panel first using liquid glue.

The three egg die cuts were turned to the back side, and I mixed and matched the “negative” die cut pieces from the eggs to create three multi-colored eggs. The negative die cut pieces were held in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals cut in half. The eggs were then placed along the bottom edge of the matted panel. I added a flower on either side of the eggs and a cloud on the upper portion of the card front which were all die cut using the Bright Skies Dies. The sentiment label was die cut using a round die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and the “Hello Spring” sentiment was stamped onto the label in Granny Apple Green ink and adhered to the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The decorated panel was then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The decorative egg image was then stamped onto the lower corner of the inside panel. The egg was stamped again onto a Post It Note and I fussy cut this image out to create a mask. The mask was placed onto the first stamped image on the panel, then I stamped the egg again a second time. The mask was removed, and I used Lemon Lolly, Highland Heather and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends to color in the eggs. The panel was adhered to a Fresh Freesia mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the decorative egg onto the front of the envelope and colored in the image using the same colors of Stampin’ Blends that I used for the inside of the card. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was added to the envelope flap, and I used paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Lastly, I added multiple Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front to complete the project.

I had a blast creating this card! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below. Happy crafting!
