Inky Bee Stampers

I used some of the products from the new Nature’s Sweetness Suite to create today’s card. Specifically, I used the Notes of Nature Bundle and the lovely Nature’s Sweetness 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. The card has a simple color palette of Basic White, Pebbled Path and Pecan Pie.

A panel of the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper was adhered to the front of a card base in Pebbled Path. The paper I chose has a Pebbled Path background with gold script writing across the paper which is just breathtaking! On top of this panel, I added an additional piece of specialty designer series paper - this one with a plant and Pecan Pie circle print. This square panel was adhered towards the top of the card front.

A length of the Gold Faux Leather Trim was cut, and I tied knots on each end of the trim, then folded the trim in half and adhered it just under the bottom left of the square specialty designer series paper panel using Stampin’ Seal. A sentiment was stamped onto a white label and this label was then adhered to a Pebbled Path mat. The sentiment label was then adhered over the Faux Leather Trim using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Notes of Nature Dies, I die cut several leaf sprigs from Pebbled Path card stock and these were adhered around the top of the sentiment label.

On the inside panel, I used the dotted stamp from the Notes of Nature Stamp Set to stamp dots in Pebbled Path across the bottom of the panel. A strip of the lovely Pebbled Path and gold script specialty designer series paper was then adhered across the bottom so that the stamped dots were visible above and below the strip of paper. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

Stamped dots were repeated on the envelope front and I also stamped a leaf sprig in Pebbled Path on top of the dots. A piece of coordinating specialty designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away. To finish up the card I adhered several Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds to the card front.

The simple color palette along with the gorgeous Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper make this a beautiful card all on its own. The addition of the Faux Leather Trim and Cork Rounds add some wonderful texture to the card that you might not be expecting!
