Thanks for stopping by! It’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I think we’re going to see some extra special cards in the Hop today! Let’s get started!
I created my card for today using the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle, Bee My Valentine Bundle and the Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. As you are exploring the new January-April 2024 Mini Catalog you might think that the only Valentine’s Day appropriate products are from the Bee Mine Suite…but take another look! The Heartfelt Bundle and the lovely Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper are equally suited for Valentine’s Day projects!

I followed the sketch challenge for our Hop today. Rather than using a circle component on my card, I opted for a hexagon shape instead.

I chose a white and gold heart pattern paper from the Most Adored 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack for my card front and adhered this to a Real Red card base. The Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper contains beautiful white and gold foil patterns on one side and pretty Real Red, Flirty Flamingo and white patterns on the opposite side which are perfect for creating Valentine’s Day cards! You can earn this paper for free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration! Woo hoo!

I chose a second piece of paper from the Most Adored pack – this one in a Real Red and white heart print and matted a smaller panel of this paper to a Flirty Flamingo mat. This unit was then adhered to the card front towards the bottom of the card. From the Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment “Sending you lots of love & hugs” in Real Red ink, then stamped the framed border around this sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink. I then used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to punch out the sentiment and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Bee Builder Punch, I punched out several large and small hearts from Real Red and Flirty Flamingo cardstock. The hearts were adhered to the upper portion of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I bow in Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon was added to the upper left of the sentiment label. While I used Real Red on my card, the Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon matches perfectly!
I chose the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set for the inside panel and this was stamped in Real Red ink. I then used the single heart image from this same stamp set and stamped hearts around the sentiment using Real Red and Flirty Flamingo ink. The panel was then adhered to a Flirty Flamingo mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

Small hearts were also stamped onto the envelope front. A coordinating piece of Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper was adhered to the envelope front and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. To finish up the card, I added several red and pink hearts from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers embellishment pack.

This completes my card for today’s blog hop! I want to thank you again for stopping by! Be sure to check back in over the next several weeks for more fun Valentine’s Day projects!
