It’s Thursday once again and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m excited to see what everyone has created for the Hop today!
My card today was created using the Lifetime of Love Bundle and the Forever Love 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. These products are part of the Forever Love Suite Collection and will be available on January 4th from the January-April 2-24 Mini Catalog!

We have a sketch challenge for today’s Hop and here it is! I love this sketch design!

This card was simple to make, yet elegant at the same time. I give credit to the beautiful Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper! To a Pretty Peacock card base I added a panel of the Petal Pink scalloped print paper. A 2″ strip of a Pretty Peacock and gold print paper was added to the card front at an angle. To ensure exact placement of the 2″ panel, I measured down 1″ from the top right and 1″ from the bottom left of the Petal Pink panel. A 1/4″ piece of Gold Foil paper was added on top of the 2″ strip and positioned towards the bottom, leaving a 1/4″ reveal along the bottom edge.
Using the Lifetime of Love Dies, I die cut the circle wreath image two times – once from Gold Foil and once from Petal Pink cardstock. I set aside the inside die cut piece of Gold Foil for a future project. The Petal Pink wreath die cut was also set aside as I used the die cut “negative” of this piece as my sentiment label. The Petal Pink negative was fit inside of the Gold Foil wreath, and I positioned the unit so that the flowers on the wreath were roughly at 10 o’clock and 4 o’clock. I then used the “forever & always” sentiment from the Lifetime of Love Stamp Set and stamped this in Pretty Peacock ink onto the Petal Pink “negative”.

The floral wreath and it’s insert where flipped to the back side and I used half Stampin’ Dimensionals around the perimeter of the unit to hold the pieces together. The unit was also supported in the center by Stampin’ Dimensionals. The wreath/sentiment label was then adhered to the card front and positioned over the 2″ specialty designer series paper strip. How lovely! Two leaf sprigs were die cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock using the Lifetime of Love Dies and these were tucked in around the Gold Foil wreath.
On a Very Vanilla inside panel, the “Love You” sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink. I also first and second generation stamped the image of the leaf stem in Pretty Peacock ink onto the lower corner of the panel. I second generation stamped the same image over the sentiment. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card base.

The leaf image was first and second generation stamped onto the envelope front in Pretty Peacock ink. A coordinating piece of specialty designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. Three Pretty Peacock Foild Gems were added to the card front to complete the project.

This completes my card for today’s Hop! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed creating it for you! So simple…yet so pretty! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
