Inky Bee Stampers

I’m winding down on making Christmas cards, so I wanted to share one more card with you that is also a gift card holder (truth be told I need one more gift card holder…so why not share with you!). Today’s card was created using the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper, Merriest Trees Dies, and sentiments from the Trucking Along Stamp Set. This card comes together quickly!

I chose the pretty snowfall pattern from the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper for my card front. Because the Merriest Trees Dies cut out the trees from one of the pieces of paper from this pack, I die cut one large and two smaller trees from the designer series paper. These trees were arranged on the left of the designer series paper panel, with the tree in front popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies, then stamped the “Special Delivery” sentiment from the Trucking Along Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. A double bow tied from black Baker’s Twine was adhered at the top of the sentiment. The panel was adhered to a Basic Black card base, then the sentiment label was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped the sentiment ” Wishing you a Festive Christmas” from the Trucking Along Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I added a strip of the snowflake print paper across the bottom of the panel then adhere the panel to the inside of the card base. I cut a rectangle measuring 4-1/8″ x 1-3/4″ from the same snowflake paper, then used my circle punch to punch out a quarter moon across one of the long edges of the rectangle. Tear & Tape was applied around the other three edges of the rectangle, then the rectangle was adhered to the upper panel of the inside of the card to create a gift card holder.

A coordinating piece of paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used my paper snips to trim away the excess paper. Multiple white Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins were adhered to the card front to finish up the project! You might think a black card base is out of place here, but check out how crisp the Balmy Blue paper and white look against the black!
