Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest Christmas Card

Happy Monday! I used the images from the Forever Forest Bundle, sentiments from the Night Divine Stamp Set and paper from the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper to create today’s card. I love the quiet and simplistic look of this card…and the sentiments from the Night Divine Stamp Set are perfect!

I chose a starry sky pattern from the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper pack for the card front. A panel of this paper was adhered to a white mat. I used the Forever Forest Dies to cut two pine trees from Old Olive cardstock. The trees were adhered together to give it some dimension. The tree was then adhered to the upper part of the starry sky panel. The sentiment for the card front was stamped in VersaMark ink onto another piece of the starry sky paper. I sprinkled white embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and used my Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. The sentiment label was then matted to a piece of white cardstock.

A piece of Tear & Tape was applied to a length of white Herringbone Ribbon in the center, and the sentiment label was centered over the ribbon. I then placed Stampin’ Dimensionals onto the top and bottom of the back of the sentiment label then adhered the label and ribbon unit to the bottom of the card front. Adhering the sentiment label to the ribbon first assisted in keeping everything centered. The ends of the ribbon were wrapped around the starry sky panel and adhered to the back of the card using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal. The panel was then adhered to the card front. I also die cut small stars in white using the Forever Forest Dies. The stars were adhered to the card front around the top of the tree.

For the inside panel, I stamped the “Glory to God in the Highest” sentiment from the Night Divine Stamp Set was stamped in Night of Navy ink. A single pine tree from the Forever Forest Stamp Set was stamped in Old Olive ink on the lower corner of the panel. The panel was adhered to a mat in Night of Navy and then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same pine tree image was stamped onto the envelope front in Old Olive ink. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using my paper snips. Several Iridescent Rhinestones were adhered to the card front to finish up the project.
