It is Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Thank you for stopping by my blog to have a look! I can’t wait to see what the other bloggers have in store for today!

This elegant holiday card was a breeze to pull together and makes a big statement with all of the shimmer and shine! I used the Handcrafted Elements Dies, Silver Foil, and the Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper to create this card, along with the Christmas Classics Stamp Set and Joy of Noel Dies. Are you saving your specialty paper…don’t! Use that pretty paper to make something spectacular!
For the hop today we’re working with a sketch challenge.

To begin, three panels in Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Night of Navy Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper were adhered to a Silver Foil mat. This was then adhered to a Night of Navy card base. I used the Handcrafted Elements Dies and the pine bough from the Joy of Noel Dies to die cut the ornament, flowers with leaves and pine boughs for the card front from Silver Foil. I used both the bright foil and the darker textured foil. The flowers and pine boughs were arranged onto the card front then adhered with liquid glue. The ornament was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. How beautiful! You can see all of the sparkle from the Soft Shimmer paper in the photo below.

On the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink. I then second-generation stamped the pine bough image multiple times onto the lower corner of the panel in Lost Lagoon ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of card base.

The same pine bough image was second generation stamped onto the envelope front in Lost Lagoon ink and I stamped the small decorative corner stamp in Night of Navy ink onto the envelope flap. I used the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon to tie a bow and added the bow to the top of the ornament on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today’s Hop, and again, thanks for stopping by! If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
