It is Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! If you are stopping by my blog first, or if you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog, welcome and thanks for stopping by!
The Earthen Textures Bundle and Earthen Elegance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper was used to create my card for today’s Hop. I love these earthtones!

We have a sketch challenge for the Hop today…

I began by adhering a geometric pattern panel from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper to a card base in Pretty Peacock. I adhered 1-1/4″ wood grain patterned strip to a Pecan Pie mat, then adhered a narrow strip of a Pretty Peacock print paper to the right of the wood grain unit. This was then adhered to the left of the card front.
I stamped the small urn image from the Earthen Textures Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink onto a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock and cut out using the coordinating die. A second urn was die cut from a print in Copper Clay print from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper. Two urn “tops” were die cut from a Pretty Peacock print paper. These were adhered to the tops of the previously cut urns. Taking full advantage of the beautiful Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper, I chose a light pattern to use as a sentiment label. The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock and the sentiment label was adhered to a Pretty Peacock mat. The sentiment was adhered to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Three of the twig images were stamped onto the Gray Granite speckled print paper and die cut. I adhered the urns to each other, positioning one slightly above the other. The urns were then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and were positioned just below and to the right of the sentiment label. Two of the twigs die cuts were tucked into one of the urns and overlap the right side of the sentiment label. The stem for the third twig was cut off and the twigs were tucked behind the other two. The portions of the twigs that overhang the sentiment label were supported underneath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using a panel of the Gray Granite speckled print paper, I stamped an additional sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink. The twig images were stamped onto the lower corner of the panel and this was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same twig image was stamped onto the lower corner of the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several Pretty Peacock sequins were added to the card front.

The Earthen Textures Bundle and Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper are perfect for creating masculine cards, too! I hope you enjoyed my card for today! If you would like to recreate this card you can click on the image below to access the pdf tutorial.
