Inky Bee Stampers

I used the fun So Very Merry Stamp Set and the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to create today’s card. Both are Online Exclusives which means that you will only find these items in the Online Store…you won’t find them in any catalog. The So Very Merry Stamp Set has sold out once, but it is now back in stock!

I selected a wood grain pattern from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper and matted it to a piece of Real Red cardstock. This was then adhered to a Crumb Cake card base. The image of the Santa from the So Very Merry Stamp Set was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. Here is the cool part…the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch punches out this image perfectly! The circle punch sure makes this easy! I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw a vertical line from the top of the designer series paper panel down about halfway to turn the stamped, colored and punched circle of Santa into an ornament! The Santa image was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Real Red & Burlap Ribbon bow just above the circle.

For the inside panel, I adhered a 3/4″ strip down the right side of the panel. A sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink, and I stamped the image of the mistletoe just above the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I colored in the mistletoe using Real Red, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. The panel was then matted to another piece of Real Red cardstock and the panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

I stamped and colored the same mistletoe image onto the envelope front and added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap. Several Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes were added to the card front and this completes the card!
