Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements Tri-Fold Accordian Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Card Hop

It’s Thursday again (time really flies by!) and that means that it is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects in the Hop this week…I know the projects will be inspirational as always! Welcome and thanks for stopping by!

My card today was created using the Timeless Arrangements Bundle and the Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. I used the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper for my Blog Hop card last week, but it is just so pretty that I couldn’t help myself! Today’s card is a Tri-Fold Accordion thank you card…so something a little bit different.

We have a color challenge for this week’s Hop! Between ink and paper I have used all five colors on my card. The Misty Moonlight is a little hard to spot but it shows up on the multi-colored piece of designer series paper!

I went with a Tri-Fold Accordian card for today. The Boho Blue card base measures 11″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 4-1/4″, 7″ and 9-3/4″. I love this fold as it is so versatile. The various panels can be glued up in different ways to create several versions of the card. For this card I glued the back sides of the second and third panels together.

The Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder was used to emboss a strip of Basic White cardstock, and this was added to the first panel of the card. Two different prints from the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper adorn the second and fourth panels. The third panel is dedicated for the inside sentiment.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies (my most valued Dies set!), I cut out three squares in various sizes from Basic White, Night of Navy and Boho Blue cardstock. The smallest of the squares was used as the sentiment label and turned on its end to form a diamond. This sentiment label was adhered to the Night of Navy square using glue and this unit was then adhered to the white square using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several die cut berry sprigs were tucked between the white and Night of Navy diamonds at the top and bottom. The diamond unit was then adhered to just the first panel on the card front. A fourth square was cut from Designer Series Paper and added to the back of the glued diamond unit. A leaf sprig was die cut from Boho Blue cardstock and added to the center of the third panel of the card.

On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped two additional sentiments in Night of Navy ink and the image of a berry twig was stamped onto the upper and lower corners. This was adhered to the inside of the card on the third panel.

I tied a small bow using Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon and this was added to the left of the diamond on the card front. The front of the envelope was decorated with the berry twig image stamped in Balmy Blue ink and I adhered a coordinating piece of Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess paper away from the flap to finish up the envelope.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! You can find complete instructions for this card, including measurements and supplies by clicking on the image below.
