Stampin’ Up! Brewed For You Center Pop Out Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and that means that it is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects in the Hop this week…I know the projects will be inspirational as always! If you are hopping over from Karen K.’s blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by!

My card today was created using the Brewed for You Stamp Set, Brewed for You Dies and the Earthen Elegance 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.  The Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper combines perfectly with the Brewed for You Stamp Set to make a fun masculine card!

We have a Theme Challenge for today’s Hop and here it is…

I started off with a card base in Pebbled Path measuring 11″ x 4-1/4″. The base was scored on the long edge at 2-1/4″, 3-5/8″, 7-3/8″ and 8-3/4″. I used a bone folder to crease all of the score lines. The 2-1/4″ score line is a valley fold, the next two score lines are mountain folds and the 8-3/4″ score line is another valley fold. I cut several different patterns from the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper for the front side panels, center front panel and the back side panels. All of these pieces were matted to Copper Clay cardstock, then adhered to the card base.

The beer glasses and beer suds were stamped onto Basic White cardstock in Gray Granite ink. The fill on the beer glasses was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink. I adhered the “suds” to the tops of the glasses. The growler was stamped in Pecan Pie ink. I then used Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the growler. A rectangle was cut from a Misty Moonlight print using the All That Dies.

Before adhering the die cut pieces to the center panel, I stamped a sentiment onto a white sentiment label and the label was matted with a piece of Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper and adhered to the card’s center panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Misty Moonlight rectangle and growler were then adhered to the center panel using liquid glue and I adhered the beer glasses to the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

An additional sentiment was stamped onto the back center panel, and I added some bubbles up the bottom of the right side of the panel using Daffodil Delight ink. The panel was adhered to a Copper Clay mat then adhered to the back center panel of the card base.

Bubbles were stamped onto the lower front of the envelope, and I adhered a piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and trimmed away the excess paper.

I love the Center Pop Out Fun Fold as it shows off our great designer series papers! And the Brewed for You Stamp Set and Dies are just plain fun! You can download, save and print the pdf tutorial for this card by clicking on the image below if you would like to recreate this card.
