It is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog or you’re starting off at my blog…welcome and thanks so much for stopping by! We have a fun challenge for the Hop today and I know you’re going to see lots of inspiration along the way so be sure to use the links below.

I created today’s card using the Autumn Expressions Bundle and the lovely Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

We have a fun color challenge for the Hop today and I was able to use all of the colors in the challenge. You have to look closely for the Moody Mauve in the designer series paper, though!

I selected a print from the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper and cut the panels for my card front. These panels were matted to Wild Wheat cardstock, then adhered to the left, center and right sections of the Cajun Craze card front. Using the Autumn Expressions Dies, I cut out a sentiment label from white cardstock and a variety of detailed leaves and leaf sprigs from Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow cardstock.

Before adhering the sentiment label and greenery, I applied a small amount of Stampin’ Seal to the center of the center section of the card front then looped Linen Thread diagonally across this section several times. I stamped the “Congratulations” sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set onto the sentiment label, then adhered the sentiment to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves and leaf sprigs were adhered with liquid glue just above and below the sentiment label.

The oak leaf image from the Autumn Expressions Stamp Set was stamped onto the upper right and lower left corners of the inside panel in Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler ink. The panel was then adhered to a Wild Wheat mat then adhered to the center section on the back of the card base.

I repeated stamping of the oak leaf onto the envelope front using Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler ink. A Mossy Meadow print from the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I used a pair of paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap. To finish up the card I added three Gold Blooming Pearls to the center section of the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Network Maintenance

On Saturday, September 21, 2024 Stampin’ Up! will be undergoing some network maintenance beginning at 8:00 am (MT) and lasting for approximately two hours.

Customers should be aware that the Stampin’ Up! online ordering system will be slightly impacted. Ordering in our online store will continue to function, but with a few small issues.  Orders placed during the outlined maintenance time will not show up in your order history until later the same day. Because the system used to verify product credits will be down, product credits will not be accepted on purchases made during the maintenance period. Order confirmation email and other related notifications will not send during the maintenance period. Instead, all impacted notifications will send after the maintenance period is over.
