Inky Bee Stampers

Here is another Quick & Easy card option for you today! This card was created using the Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes. These items will be available for customer orders on January 7 from the January – April 2025 Mini Catalog! A little Linen Thread and Opal Rounds Assortment dots were added to the card front and done!

I selected one of the Balmy Blue Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards and Envelopes. The tree branch, bird nest, leaf sprig and sentiment were selected from the Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

I first adhered the tree branch to the card front at an angle using liquid glue. A small amount of Stampin’ Seal was added at the base of the tree branch, and I looped Linen Thread diagonally several times then added the bird’s nest over top of the loops using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaf sprig was tucked under the right side of the nest and adhered with liquid glue. The sentiment was adhered towards the top right of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I selected another Balmy Blue card base and cut the base in half, then trimmed it down to 5-1/4″ x 4″. This panel was adhered to the inside of the card using liquid glue. This Balmy Blue panel is light enough so that you can write on it and adds something pretty to the inside of the card. Another option would be to add a white cardstock panel to a Balmy Blue mat, then adhered this to the inside of the card. I liked the pretty, soft diagonal stripes, though. I will use the other half of the card base for another project.

There was no need to decorate the envelope since is already has a pretty textured print on the outside. I did add three Opal Rounds to the card front for a little something extra!

This past weekend I had a table at a local craft fair. It was a good day at the fair and lots of beautiful things for sale. I did my share of spending at the craft fair to support other local crafters! It is a lot of work preparing for these craft shows so I didn’t have a lot of time to prepare my card for today’s blog. This is another reason why I’m so fond of the Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes and Ephemera Packs! I was able to create this card in a matter of minutes!
