Inky Bee Stampers

I don’t think there is anything prettier than Cherry Cobbler and Gold together and that is what today’s card is all about! I used the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle and the Regal Distressed Specialty Designer Series Paper in Cherry Cobbler to create today’s card. The card also features a pretty pine tree in Gold Metallic Enamel Effects on the inside panel and envelope front.

I started off with a panel of the Regal Distressed Specialty Paper in Cherry Cobbler and adhered this panel to a Gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper mat. This was then adhered to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Peaceful Evergreens Dies, I die cut two pine trees from Gold Textured Metallic Paper and adhered this to the lower left of the card front using small drops of liquid glue. The “Christmas” sentiment was die cut using the Peaceful Season Dies in Gold Textured Metallic Paper and Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The sentiment was added to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and was positioned just to the right of the trees.

The piece of Gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper used to die cut the pine trees for the card front was used as a mask to sponge Gold Metallic Enamel Effects over the negative to create a tree on the inside panel. Once the enamel was dry, I then stamped an additional sentiment onto the panel from the Peaceful Season Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler ink. The panel was adhered to a Gold Textured Metallic mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same Textured Metallic Specialty Paper mask was used to sponge Gold Metallic Enamel Effects onto the envelope front to create the smaller pine tree. A piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. A small double bow tied from Gold Twisted Thread was added to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. Three Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the card front to finish up the project.
