Inky Bee Stampers

The Marbled Elegance Suite is a new collection of products that will be available in the Online Exclusives section of the online store on November 5. The Marbled Elegance Suite is clearly geared towards Valentine’s Day but by simply switching up sentiments, I have created a pretty birthday card for today. I love stretching products to work for more than one occasion!

I started with a panel of the Marbled Elegance 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″. I used the side of the paper showing the pretty gold foil. This panel was adhered to a white mat measuring 5-1/4″ x 4″. This was then adhered to the front of a Petal Pink card base. Gold Twisted Thread was adhered diagonally across the card front with a little Stampin’ Seal.

The Hearts of Elegance Dies were used to cut out three hearts. Two of the die cut hearts have a pretty etched leaf detail around the edges and the center heart is plain. I used the solid heart as a sentiment label and stamped the “Sending lots of love” sentiment onto this heart using Poppy Parade ink. I also stamped the rose image from the Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set several times in Petal Pink across this heart. I adhered the hearts together vertically with the sentiment heart on top, then adhered this to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel, I stamped the “happy birthday” sentiment from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set in Poppy Parade ink. The rose image from the Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set was stamped onto the lower corner in Petal Pink ink. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the roses on the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. To finish up the card I added three Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins to the card front.

The Marbled Elegance Suite is beautiful! The Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set contains a good number of sentiments and other images. The Hearts of Elegance Dies contains a bunch of different sized hearts along with a few detailed hearts and dies to cut out stamped images. The Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! This suite of products would be an excellent addition to your crafting stash.
