Inky Bee Stampers

Here is another sneak peek of an upcoming bundle to the Online Exclusives…the Pretty Petals Bundle! The Pretty Petals Stamp Set uses two-step stamps to stamp beautiful leaf and floral images and coordinating dies. The stamp set does not include any sentiments, but you can easily add a sentiment to your cards. I went with a simple note card for today. The Pretty Petals Bundle will be available for customers to order on November 5!

I started off with a 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″ panel of Petunia Pop cardstock. I used the largest floral stamp in the Pretty Petals Stamp Set and stamped flowers in Petunia Pop ink across the entire panel. The panel was then adhered to the front of a Shy Shamrock card base using liquid glue. I used the Countryside Corners Dies to cut out an octagon from a striped print from the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper and a slightly smaller octagon from white cardstock. I used the two-step stamps from the Pretty Petals Stamp Set to stamp first the leaves in Shy Shamrock ink and the flowers in Petunia Pop ink onto the white octagon. The stamped octagon was then adhered to the striped octagon, then I adhered this to the center of my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I restamped the flowers again onto a piece of scrap white cardstock in Petunia Pop ink. I used the Pretty Petals Dies to cut out the flowers, then I adhered each die cut flower over its corresponding flower on the octagon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love the popped-up look of the flowers…it adds so much dimension!

Moving on to the inside panel, I partially stamped the leaves in Shy Shamrock ink and the flowers in Petunia Pop ink onto the lower corner of the panel. The panel was then adhered to a Petunia Pop mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the leaves and flowers on the envelope front and a piece of coordinating designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. A small Shy Shamrock Bordered Ribbon bow was added to the card front (just at the base of the flower bouquet) and three Pool Party Glossy Dots were added around the card front to complete the project.
