It is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog or you are starting with my blog…welcome and thanks for stopping by! Be sure to use the links below to check out more inspiration in the Hop today. Let’s get started!
My card for today was created using the Sentimental Wishes Bundle and the Sentimental Christmas 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. This paper has become one of my favorites!

We have a fun fold theme challenge for today’s Hop. I’m calling this fun fold a Reverse Center Pop Out. Normally, this card would be presented with the center panel popping out on the front of the card, but this one is the opposite. My inspiration came from a YouTube video by Delight of my Art. Check out her channel when you get a chance.

The card base for this card measures 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 2″, 3-1/8″, 5-3/8″, and 6-1/2″. The two outer score lines of the card base are folded as mountain folds and the two inner score lines are valley folds. I selected a pine tree print and diagonal stripe print from the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper and cut panels to fit the outer sections for both the front and back of the card. A Christmas tree print was selected for the center section on the card front.

On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, I stamped the “Have a very merry Christmas” sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink. I then used the third from largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the sentiment. A applied a small amount of Stampin’ Seal towards the top of the center panel and applied a folded piece of Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer Ribbon, then I adhered the sentiment label over the attached ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
From the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, I used the Sentimental Wishes Dies to cut out a stocking and a red bow. The stocking was adhered to the bottom of the sentiment label using a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then adhered the die cut bow to the top of the stocking using liquid glue.

I stamped an additional sentiment on the reverse back center panel in Shaded Spruce ink, then stamped the image of the candles using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I colored in the candle image using a variety of Stampin’ Blends. I used a Blender Pen and Basic Beige ink to shade the two candles and a Garden Green Watercolor Pencil to shade the pine in the image. The panel was then adhered to the center back panel.

I repeated stamping and coloring of the candle image on the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. Three Pretty Peacock Adhesive-Backed Sequins were added to the card front.

I love a fun fold that allows you to show off beautiful paper and this fun fold does just that! This card makes a great display card as well!

Carol, it’s amazing no one made the same fold and that you thought outside the box and did a reverse!
