Welcome back! It’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s blog or you are starting off with my blog…thanks so much for being here! We have a fun challenge for the Hop today so be sure to use the links below to hop around for more inspiration.

Ever since I saw the Country Birdhouse Dies I knew I wanted to create a Country Birdhouse Christmas card! Along came the beautiful Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper and the Golden Greenery Bundle! The gold foil accents in the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper along with a few pops of red fit the bill perfectly!
We have a sketch challenge for today’s Hop…

I selected a Mossy Meadow and Old Olive floral print from the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel to a Mossy Meadow card front. I selected a second paper in Very Vanilla and gold and matted this panel to a Mossy Meadow mat. This was then adhered to the center of the card front. I used the Country Birdhouse Dies to cut out the birdhouse from a woodgrain print from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. The roof was die cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock and the scalloped trim piece was cut from Gold Foil. Once the roof and trip were glued in place, I adhered the birdhouse to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set to stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment onto a Granny Apple Green label. The label was matted with Gold Foil, then adhered to the card front using a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid glue. I die cut several flowers and a bow from Poppy Parade cardstock using the Country Birdhouse dies and several pine boughs were die cut from Mossy Meadow and Old Olive using the Golden Greenery Dies. I tucked the pine boughs in around the birdhouse then added the flowers and bow around the birdhouse.
An additional sentiment from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the inside panel. I added pine boughs onto the upper corners of the panel, then adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The same pine bough images were stamped onto the envelope front and I adhered a coordinating piece of designer series paper to the envelope flap. To finish up the project I added clear Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments to the flowers on the card front.

I enjoyed pulling this card together…I hope you like it! Thanks again for stopping by. If you would like to recreate this card you can download, save and print the pdf tutorial by clicking on the image below.
