Inky Bee Stampers

While the Amaryllis flower is associated with Christmas time, the Artful Amaryllis Bundle can create a lovely card for any time of the year or occasion! I used the Artful Amaryllis Bundle along with some pretty paper from the Regal Winter 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to create this pretty thank you card.

I selected a Blackberry Bliss print from the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper and adhered a 5″ x 3-3/4″ panel to a Berry Burst mat. This was then adhered to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base. Using the Artful Amaryllis Dies I cut out all of my flower pieces. The leaves and stems were cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock and the flower pieces were cut out from white cardstock. I used Stampin’ Blends in Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Soft Sea Foam, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green to color the petals. A Stampin’ Blend Color Lifter was used to soften the colors a bit. There is a fun floral embossing die in the Artful Amaryllis Dies and I used this die to create a pretty floral strip from a piece of Berry Burst cardstock measuring 3-1/2″ x 3/4″. I assembled the die cut and colored flowers, leaves and stems along the left side of the card front. A folded piece of Blackberry Bliss & Gold Textured Trim was added over top of the flower base, then I added the embossed strip across the left side of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A simple “Thanks” sentiment label die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies was adhered to the floral strip.

The “You made my day” sentiment was stamped onto the inside panel in Berry Burst ink. I partially stamped the Amaryllis image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the lower corner of the panel and colored in the image with Stampin’ Blends. The panel was adhered to a Berry Burst mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the Amaryllis image onto the envelope front and colored in the image with Stampin’ Blends. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap with the excess paper trimmed away. I added three Petunia Pop Pearls to the card front to finish up the project. The Petunia Pop Pearls blended in nicely with the Blackberry Bliss background.
