Inky Bee Stampers

Stampin’ Up! recently released new products from their Scrapbooking Brochure and some of those new products include the Halloween Spells 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, Halloween Memories Sticker Sheet, and the Halloween Memories Stamp Set. I am not a scrapbooker…yet…so I wanted to share with you how you can use these products for your cardmaking. I have two cards to share with you today. These cards came together quickly, too!

For this first card I selected a Pumpkin Pie polka dot print from the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper and adhered a panel to the front of a Basic Black card base. (Orange happens to be my favorite color!) From the Halloween Memories Sticker Sheet, I selected a bat, potion bottles and a portion of a Gorgeous Grape strip and adhered these to my card front. I used a 2-3/8″ Circle Punch to punch out a circle from black cardstock, then I selected the circle sticker with the “you cast a SPELL on me” sentiment and adhered this to the black circle. A length of Large Check Ribbon was added across the Gorgeous Grape band, then I adhered the circle unit over top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the “Trick-or-Treat” sentiment from the Halloween Memories Stamp Set onto the inside panel in Gorgeous Grape ink. The bubble image from the Potions & Spells Stamp Set was stamped onto the lower corner in Lemon Lime Twist ink then colored in with a Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blend. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

The same bubble image was stamped onto the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope front. I adhered multiple Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to the card front to complete the card.

For my second card, I adhered a striped Halloween print panel from the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper to a Basic Black card base. The spider web image from the Halloween Memories Sticker Sheet was adhered to the lower right corner of the card front. I adhered a length of Iridescent Striped Trim diagonally across the card using Stampin’ Seal. The “eek!” and “Halloween” sentiments from the Halloween Memories Sticker Sheet were adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also added a spider to the spider web and he was popped up using a Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “Spooky Fun” sentiment from the Halloween Memories Stamp Set was stamped onto the inside panel in Gorgeous Grape ink. I then stamped the crow image from the Potions & Spells Stamp Set onto the lower corner in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and used Smoky Slate, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends to color in the image. The panel was then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping and coloring of the crow on the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap. Several Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins were added to the card front to complete the card.

I assembled these cards in a matter of minutes and the Halloween Scrapbooking products go perfectly with the Potions & Spells Stamp Set!
