Inky Bee Stampers

It is time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! If you are hopping over from Terry Lynn’s Blog or you are starting with my blog…welcome and thanks so much for stopping by! We have a fun sketch challenge for the Hop today and I’m excited to see what everyone has created so let’s get started!

I used the lovely Season of Green & Gold 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper along with the Golden Greenery Bundle and the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set to create my card for the Hop.

Here is our sketch challenge for the Hop today…

A multi greenery print from the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper was cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ then adhered to a Basic Black mat, then adhered to the front of a Garden Green card front. I chose a second print from the same paper in a polka dot and Very Vanilla print and cut a panel to 3-3/4″ x 3″. This was adhered to a Basic Black mat, then adhered to the center right of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Golden Greenery Dies, I die cut two pine boughs and a greenery sprig from the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper and arranged the sprigs cascading down from the top of the small rectangular panel. I stamped the “Happy Holidays” sentiment from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a Garden Green sentiment label. A banner end was cut on the left side of the label then the label was adhered to the bottom of the small rectangular unit using a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel, I stamped an additional sentiment from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then I stamped the two-step pine bough image from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set in the lower corner in Garden Green ink. The panel was adhered to a Basic Black mat, then adhered to the inside of the card.

I repeated stamping of the pine bough image on the envelope front and a coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap and I trimmed the excess paper away from the flap using a pair of paper snips. A double bow was tied with Garden Green Natural Tones Linen Thread and adhere at the top of the greenery sprigs on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. Three Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments were added to the card front to finish up the project.

The Season of Green & Gold 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper along with the Golden Greenery Bundle and the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set make for some very elegant cards!
