Inky Bee Stampers

Today’s winter-themed card was created using the Snowy Wonder Bundle, Snowy Scenes 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, and the Christmas Labels Bundle. These new products can be found in the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog and are now available in the Online Store!

I began by tearing two white cardstock strips measuring 5″ x 1-3/4″ to create two snow hills. A Blending Brush was used to blend Pool Party ink across the torn edges of these strips, then the strips were adhered to a Pool Party panel measuring 5″ x 3-3/4″. I stamped a number of images from the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set to include five pine trees, a house and a small and large mountain. The windows and door of the house were colored in using Stampin’ Blends. I used the snowman die from the Snowy Wonder Dies to cut out one snowman from the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper.

The die cut mountains, house and two trees were tucked behind one of the snow hills on the left and the snowman and two trees were adhered to the snow hill on the right using Stampin’ Dimensionals. An additional tree was adhered partially behind the snowman on the right. I used the “Let it Snow” sentiment in Poppy Parade on the rectangular label from the Christmas Labels Dies and then adhered the sentiment towards the top center of the Pool Party panel. The panel was then adhered to a Poppy Parade mat, then adhered to the front of a Pool Party card base.

On the inside panel, I stamped the “It’s a Hot Cocoa Day” sentiment in Poppy Parade ink. Two trees and the house image from the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set were stamped onto the lower corner of the panel. Snowflakes were stamped across the panel in Pool Party ink. The panel was adhered to a Poppy Parade mat then adhered to the inside of the card.

To finish up the card I adhered multiple White Loose Snowflakes to the card front using very small drops of glue. Trees were stamped in Garden Green on the envelope front then I stamped the small snowflake image multiple times above the trees using Pool Party ink. A coordinating piece of designer series paper was adhered to the envelope flap, and I used my paper snips to trim the excess paper away from the flap.

I think the thing I like most about the Snowy Wonder Bundle are the uplifting images…they are so cheerful…and they make for an adorable card suitable for the young and old alike!
